JASON SUTHERLAND

DRIVING SHARED MOMENTUM

I turn complexity into clarity.

I uncover the friction others work around, turn it into shared understanding, and help cross-functional teams ship measurable product impact.

The real work

I peel back the interface.

I design understanding.

I help cross-functional teams see the same problem, own the same direction, and move together.

From ambiguity to action

Three moves create momentum.

01

Clarify

Surface the friction hiding beneath the visible problem.

02

Connect

Bring customer behavior, business priorities, and team perspectives into the same conversation.

03

Mobilize

Turn shared understanding into decisions, ownership, and measurable progress.

Experience spanning enterprise operations, conversational AI, digital platforms, and emerging ventures — including work with USPS, Best Western International, Google, OJO Labs, Royal Bank of Canada, and Mitsui & Co.

Connected product systems

People, ideas, and data each hold value.

Connecting them creates momentum.

Why Introgression

Stronger ideas emerge when disciplines exchange what they know.

In biology, introgression describes the movement of useful traits across boundaries.

Innovation works the same way. The strongest products rarely originate within one discipline. They evolve when research, design, engineering, product, marketing, operations, and leadership exchange perspectives until something stronger emerges.

That is the role I tend to play: connecting perspectives, exposing the underlying pattern, and helping an organization turn fragmented knowledge into coordinated action.

Beyond the work

Curiosity follows me everywhere.

Some ideas become products. Some become businesses. Some simply teach me how to see differently.

The next conversation

Where is momentum getting stuck?

Whether the friction lives in the product, the team, or the story connecting them, let’s uncover it together.
